Successful Completion of the Bureau Veritas Audit

30 July 2020

In the summer of 2020, the RMCC LLC sites were successfully audited by Bureau Veritas for compliance with the SafeGuard sanitary protocol, which sets safety standards for COVID-19 risk control.

In late June and early July of 2020, three Russian Mining Chemical Company LLC sites (the Kuldur Brucite Mine, the Savkinsky deposit and Vyazma-Brucite) were successfully audited by Bureau Veritas for compliance with the SafeGuard sanitary protocol, which sets safety standards for COVID-19 risk control.

Today, as the business is gradually resuming work following the quarantine, it is subject to rigorous audits designed to ensure that safety and hygiene standards required for the health of customers and employees are being followed.

To undergo an audit for confirming safety standards at production and other sites, RMCC LLC turned to Bureau Veritas, the authoritative French company, specializing in certification, industrial and technical inspections and supervision.

From June 26th to July 2nd, 2020, the Kuldur Brucite Mine, the Savkinsky deposit and the Vyazma-Brucite production company were audited by Bureau Veritas. During the audit procedure, the security measures taken by RMCC LLC on the previously mentioned sites were checked for compliance with SafeGuard requirements, according to which the company must ensure all conditions to protect the health of its employees during the pandemic. Thanks to modern digital technology, the audit was conducted long distance.

Bureau Veritas experts took into account all possible risks and confirmed that all the necessary measures have been taken to protect personnel. As a result of the audit, it was established that RMCC LLC sites fully comply with social distancing and hygienic norms, as well as all other recommendations of the authorities and the relevant regulatory legal acts aimed at controlling the risk of proliferation of the coronavirus infection. The facilities have responsibly approached the issue of protecting the health of their employees and developed a special set of actions designed to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and identify possible infection incidents.
